For devices containing more than one disk we only charge you for the faulty disk.

The higher price is usually when 1 or more of the 3 larger chips on the PCB is burnt or blistered.
Firmware Faults - Disk incorrectly reported in BIOS

- Operating System cannot be found

Minor Mechanical Faults - Disk functions intermittently but we are able to stablise it to recover the data without intrusive repair

* For these prices, on occasions when we need to purchase additional disks for parts, we require a payment of $300 to cover parts & freight costs. This fee is then removed from the recovery price if recovery is possible.
If your disk has previously been opened, we charge $500 to examine the disk. This is because of the greatly reduced chances of successful recovery. The fee is then removed from the recovery price if recovery is possible.
