Outlook has a 2 GB limit on the size of the mail file (.PST). We are able to recover your e-mail if you reach this limit. We require the media holding the mail folder to be forwarded to us. We will sub-divide the .PST according to your requirements, there are two approaches to this:
Create an archive
Create an archive within your Outlook application and configure the archive to run regularly or perform manual archiving regularly. Creating an archive will allow you to effectively double the 2 GB PST file limit but with time you may still find this is a problem.
Create multiple PST files
Look at your Outlook folder structure and define logical groupings for separate PST files. Create this seprate PST files and then define rules to move emails to the appropriate PST file.
In either instance, monitor the growth of your PST files over time to ensure they are comfortably inside the 2 GB limit. Consider further sub-division before any file approaches 2 GB.
If you are experiencing this problem, please follow our recovery process, or contact us.
